Recently, Royal Enfield has launched the Guerrilla 450 BS6 model in the Indian market. This performance-oriented premium comes in the 300cc to 500cc motorcycle segment. The company is now preparing for the launch of its sports bike, which will compete with many bikes not only in India but across the world markets. Let's know what is going to be special in it.
According to Jagran, Royal Enfield is all set to introduce five motorcycles based on a new 450cc platform. Out of these five motorcycles, the Himalayan 450 and the recently launched Guerilla 450 are the only two known motorcycles. According to sources, the third motorcycle will turn out to be the sportiest offering from Royal Enfield established on the Sherpa 450 platform. It is supposed to be a semi-faired sport bike.
It can be introduced as the retro cafe racer. It can come with many great parts and features in comparison with the Guerilla 450. Its pricing can go higher than that of the Guerilla 450. This Guerilla 450-based sports bike can come under the name Continental GT-R 450. Next, the designing of the Continental GT 650 is also visible in it.
There are many different changes that one notices within the Royal Enfield Guerilla 450. There is a similar silhouette in this too. There could be a cowl beneath the pillions of its seat that one can remove as well. The cowl completely covers the round LED headlights of the Guerilla and all extend up to the fuel tank. As a baseline, it would replace the RSU telescopic front forks with the USD telescopic front forks. The single-cylinder configuration remains underneath along with some modern touches, such as bar-end mirrors, that complete the retro cafe racer look. Alternately, the alloy wheels could be new and at the rear, 160-section wheels. Not only this but its Tripper Dash can also be equipped with features like Google Maps and music control.
