Karan Johar's upcoming film 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' has earned almost its budget even before its release. 178 crores have been spent in preparing the film. Before the release, about 160 crores have come into the pocket of the makers through digital, music, and satellite rights. The film will release on July 28. The film has already collected 90 percent of its budget before its release.
Makers have sold the digital rights of 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' to Amazon Prime Video for 80 crores. 50 crores have been received from the satellite rights of the film. Saregama has got about 30 crores from selling music rights. In such a situation, the film has earned 160 crores. The film, which has already earned a major part of its budget, can prove to be a big hit if it manages to get a good start at the box office.
'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Along with these two famous veteran actors Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra are also in the film. 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' is slated to release on July 28.
