Sudan Conflict: 23 people have died in an attack by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in Sudan.

Wars between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces began in Sudan on 15 April last year. The war has not yet ended. From time to time, violence flared in Sudan. Thousands of people have lost their lives because of this war; millions of people have been displaced and lost their homes; people still continue to live in very difficult conditions. The continuous violence in Sudan has also turned the food crisis very serious, and crores of people are facing a serious food crisis. RSF keeps attacking from time to time in Sudan and has recently attacked once again. RSF carried out this attack in Ar-Rahad city of North Kordofan state.

On Sunday, the city of Ar-Rahad was attacked by RSF in North Kordofan state. The incident took place when the RSF stopped some vehicles coming from the town of Ar-Rahad and going toward the weekly market in the Um-Simaima village, north of Um-Rawaba town, and opened fire on the people. During this attack, 23 persons lost their lives.

This RSF has left 23 persons injured in the attack. The injured have been admitted to hospital for treatment.
