'Putin can win the war if military aid to Ukraine is stopped', White House warns US Congress

The White House has warned the US Congress amid the Russia-Ukraine war. The White House said Putin could win if aid to Ukraine was cut off.

The White House issued a warning on Monday that US aid to Ukraine would continue until the end of the year. He said Russian President Vladimir Putin could win the war if Congress does not agree on new funding.

President Joe Biden's budget director Shalanda Young said in a letter to Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson that cutting off military aid to Ukraine would undermine Kiev's fight against Russian aggression.

He further wrote that there is no magical means of funding available to accomplish this. We have no money and are almost out of time. Let us tell you that in October, Biden had demanded from Congress a national security package of $ 106 billion for military aid to Ukraine and Israel's war against Hamas, but due to lack of funds, this demand could not be fulfilled.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan further said that Congress must decide whether it will continue to support the fight for independence in Ukraine. Or will Congress ignore the lessons of history and allow Putin to dominate. This is such an easy and absolutely simple option.
