Police action in Morocco seized more than 8 tons of cannabis

There is no scarcity of drug addicts in the world nor of drug dealers. Drug dealers smuggle it at the international level. This drug is being delivered to almost all the countries present around the globe. However, in view of this international smuggling, the police and other agencies also remain vigilant as well as take action from time to time. Recently, something similar happened in Morocco. Police have seized a huge amount of cannabis resin.
Local police and security officials in Morocco confiscated 8.1 tons of cannabis resin while acting in the western port city of Safi on Saturday. It was in a cargo truck which was packed secretly, and was being sent for international shipment via sea.
In this case, police and security officials arrested 21 people accused of participating in a drug-trafficking network. Police are interrogating them.
Morocco continues to take strong action against the many different efforts of international drug trafficking. Police and security officials throughout Morocco do their best in trying to prevent the smuggling of cannabis they produce there to other countries.
