The Home Ministry of South Korea recently gave information that from May 20 to last Sunday (August 4) this year, 1,690 people have fallen ill due to severe heat in the country.

The situation in South Korea has worsened due to the scorching heat, so far 14 people have died due to the heat.

The heat is not only affecting the condition of humans but also of animals. So far 2,57,483 animals have died due to the scorching heat in South Korea, of which 2,77,000 were chickens. Apart from this, 5,867 flatfish have also died due to heat in 6 fish farms.

The Home Ministry of South Korea has also issued an advisory for people to avoid this scorching heat. People have been advised not to go out between 2 pm and 5 pm. In case of dizziness or nausea, staying in a cool environment, consuming cold beverages, etc. have also been advised.
