India performed brilliantly and won 34 medals in the International Level 2 tournament held in Surakarta, Indonesia.

While Umesh Vikram of India won the gold in the SL-3 category, Sukant Kadam, Sivarajan Solaimalai, and Mandeep Kaur combined to fetch three silver on Sunday in Indonesia Para-Badminton.

In the final of the men's singles SL3 event, Umesh Vikram beat compatriot and top seed Nehal Gupta 12-21 21-8 21-19. Sukant Kadam lost 14-21 14-21 to Indonesia's Freddy Setiawan in the final of the men's singles SL4 event to finish with a silver.

Sivarajan Solaimalai lost the men's singles SH6 final. He was defeated by top seed Indonesian Subhan 19-21 15-21, due to which Sivarajan had to settle for the silver medal. Mandeep Kaur won silver in women's singles SL3. India put up a tremendous performance in the international level 2 tournament held in Surakarta, Indonesia, and won 34 medals in the same.
