Pakistan News: PML-N leader while talking to journalists in Lahore said that all political parties will participate in the election process. People will decide who they want in power. According to Geo News, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Peoples Party are repeatedly complaining that they are not being given a level playing field before the elections and efforts are being made to eliminate them.
Senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah made a big statement on Saturday, saying that "all political parties" should be allowed to contest the 2024 general elections in the country. In fact, before this Rana had been opposing Imran's party contesting the elections.
Speaking to reporters in Lahore, the PML-N leader said that all political parties will participate in the election process. People will decide who they want in power.
According to Geo News, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have been repeatedly complaining that they are not being given a level playing field ahead of the elections and efforts are being made to eliminate them.
PTI had earlier accused Pakistan's caretaker government of denying a level playing field. With elections approaching, the PTI chairman is behind bars in Adiala jail and the party leadership claims that he is not allowed to contest for the post.
On the other hand, PPP, PML-N's former ally in the previous Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)-led coalition government, also blamed Sharif's party for denying it a level playing field. Sanaullah hit back at the PPP and asked whether filing false cases against the PML-N leadership was a "level playing field".
Sanaullah claimed that his party will win around 120 to 125 seats out of the total 141 in Punjab during the 2024 elections. He further said that PML-N will form the next government at the Center with a simple majority.
