'No one can remove Sengol now...', uproar over Sengol in Parliament; BJP lashed out at SP-RJD's demand

Sengol is once again discussing a variety of problems at a special session of the Lok Sabha. The Samajwadi Party has requested that Sengol be removed from Parliament House and replaced by the Constitution. RK Chaudhary, a Samajwadi Party MP, has sent a letter demanding Sengol's expulsion from Parliament House. The BJP has now complained about this.

Samajwadi Party MP RK Chaudhary said, 'The Constitution is a symbol of democracy. The BJP government under the leadership of PM Modi established Sengol in the Parliament. 'Sengol' means 'Raj-Dand' or 'King's Stick'. The country became independent after the princely system ended.' Will the country be run by 'King's Stick' or the Constitution? I demand that Sengol be removed from Parliament to save the Constitution.'

After this, BJP leader CR Kesavan called Chaudhary's comments insulting. CR Kesavan said, 'RK Chaudhary's comment is insulting. He has insulted lakhs of devotees. He has also weakened the sanctity of Parliament. He has also misused the office of the President. But what better can you expect from a Samajwadi Party MP.'

Meanwhile, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav defended Chaudhary and suggested that the comment could be a warning to the Prime Minister. When Sengol was installed, the PM bowed his head in front of it. He must have forgotten this while taking the oath. Perhaps our MP's comment was to remind him of this.

Union Minister BL Verma has opposed the removal of Sengol and targeted SP leaders. He said, 'The SP leader should look at the constitution and parliamentary traditions. The Samajwadi Party MPs who are saying this should first know the parliamentary traditions and then speak. And they are talking about removing something that is a symbol of self-respect. I think that somewhere they should look at the constitution and parliamentary traditions.'

Also, in the statement of the SP leader, BJP MP Mahesh Jethmalani said that Sengol is a symbol of the nation. Sengol was established, but now no one can remove it.
