NIA raids three states in 'Ghazwa-e-Hind' case being operated from Pakistan, many documents seized
NIA Raid: NIA raids two places in Patna, one place in Darbhanga, Surat, and Bareilly in the Ghazwa-e-Hind case. Digital devices such as mobile phones, memory cards, SIM cards, and several documents have been seized in the raid.
NIA i.e. National Investigation Agency conducted raids in three states of the country on Sunday. The raid took place in connection with the "Ghazwa-e-Hind" module. According to the information received, the module of Ghazwa-e-Hind was being operated from our neighboring country Pakistan and a large number of people are associated with this module, including many Indians. NIA also raided two places in Patna, one place in Darbhanga, Surat, and Bareilly. Digital devices such as mobile phones, memory cards, SIM cards, and a large number of documents have been seized in the raid.
NIA busted this module last year. On July 14 last year, the Bihar Police arrested a person named Margoob Ahmed Danish alias Tahir from Phulwari Sharif in Bihar. Eight days later, the NIA took over the investigation of the case. The NIA had filed a charge sheet against Danish in January under various sections of the IPC and UAPA Act. Ever since that arrest, the agency's eye was on the matter.
The NIA said that all these accused are members of the Ghazwa-e-Hind module operating from the country of Pakistan. The objective of this module is to spread hatred against other religions by radicalizing the youths with them. Investigation revealed that Danish was the admin of the Ghazwa-e-Hind group created on WhatsApp and its page was created in Pakistan. Many people of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and Yemeni origin were involved in this group.
These people wanted to create sleeper cells in the country so that terrorist attacks could be carried out. The arrested accused had also created many other groups on social media platforms, like Bangladeshi 'Gajwa e Hind', and was trying to mislead the youth of Bangladesh by adding them. If this accusation had not come into the hands of NIA, he could have carried out a big incident.
