A Sikh man was shot dead by some unidentified gunmen in Peshawar city on Saturday. The man, identified as 32-year-old Manmohan Singh, was shot dead in Peshawar's Rashid Garhi market in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Let us tell you that earlier on Friday, a Sikh shopkeeper named Tarlok Singh was shot by unknown people in Peshawar, but he managed to save his life.

The humanitarian group United Sikhs tweeted about the incident on Twitter. He wrote that Manmohan Singh used to run a grocery shop in Peshawar's Rashid Garhi and was the only person earning for his family. At the time of the incident, Manmohan was going home after closing his shop. Two bike-borne assailants first chased them and then opened fire. After this, he died on the spot.

Let us tell you that about 15,000 Sikhs live in Peshawar. In September last year, a renowned Sikh doctor was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Peshawar. The Sikh Hakim was murdered in the clinic. Earlier in the year 2018, Charanjit Singh, a prominent member of the Sikh community was killed by unknown people in Peshawar itself. In the year 2020, the news channel's anchor Ravinder Singh was killed. In 2016, Soren Singh, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf National Assembly, was also killed in Peshawar.
