NEET PG 2023 Counselling to End on October 20, Stray Vacancy Round Notification on October 12
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the deadline for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) counselling to October 20, 2023, for the stray vacancy round. This is a 10-day delay from the Supreme Court-approved deadline of October 10, 2023.

Bhopal : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the deadline for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) counselling to October 20, 2023, for the stray vacancy round. This is a 10-day delay from the Supreme Court-approved deadline of October 10, 2023.
The MCC has extended the deadline to give more time to candidates to participate in the counselling process and to ensure that all vacant seats are filled. The MCC will release the notification for the stray vacancy round on October 12, 2023.
The NEET PG 2023 counselling is conducted for admission to postgraduate medical courses in government and private medical colleges across India. The counselling process is conducted in four rounds: All India Quota (AIQ) round, state quota round, deemed and central universities round, and mop-up round.

The stray vacancy round is conducted after all the other rounds of counselling to fill any remaining vacant seats. Candidates who have participated in any of the previous rounds of counselling are eligible to participate in the stray vacancy round.
To register for the NEET PG 2023 stray vacancy round, candidates need to follow these steps:
- Visit the official website of the MCC at mcc.nic.in.
- Click on the "PG Medical Counselling" tab.
- Click on the "Stray Vacancy Round" link.
- Register for the counselling process by entering your NEET PG 2023 roll number and password.
- Fill out the online application form and upload the required documents.
- Pay the registration fee online.
After completing the registration process, candidates need to participate in the online choice filling and locking process. The MCC will release the seat allotment list for the stray vacancy round on October 16, 2023. Candidates who are allotted seats need to report to the allotted colleges by October 19, 2023.
