Top Story: Application window for Assistant Professor recruitment reopened

The application window for Assistant Professor recruitment, which was stuck for almost a year in Madhya Pradesh, has been opened once again. With the help of this recruitment, 1669 posts of Assistant Professors of 34 subjects are to be filled in the government colleges of the state. The recruitment notification was issued in December 2022 for which more than 41 thousand applications were registered. But the Commission did not release the date of recruitment exam for almost a year.

The reason for this was that the MP State Eligibility Test 2022 exam was held in the month of August, the result of which was released last week in November. It was necessary to pass SET exam for Assistant Professor recruitment, hence 1669 recruitments were also stuck waiting for the result.

Now after the release of MP SET result, the Commission has reopened the application window for Assistant Professor recruitment till December 30. Candidates qualified in the new result will also be able to apply for this recruitment. Let us tell you that 41,424 applications have already been received for 1669 vacancies, i.e. 24 times more than the total posts. In such a situation, with the re-opening of the application window, the competition in this recruitment is going to increase further.
