Perhaps the most successful bowlers in T20 cricket history, and MS Dhoni's most trusted bowler in CSK, Dwayne Bravo is retiring completely from the shortest format of cricket. Caribbean Premier League 2024-which has been declared-could be his last professional T20 tournament. Bravo has already retired from international cricket and IPL but is continuously playing for the Trinbago Knight Riders in CPL. He shared the information about retirement through social media.

Former West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo has written in a post on his Instagram handle that it has been a great journey and I am looking forward to playing my last professional tournament in front of my Caribbean people. TKR is where everything started for me and will end with my team.

In fact, the all-rounder popularly known as DJ Bravo has been performing consistently well in the CPL. He led his team to three championships as captain and won five titles in total. His retirement is a big loss for the league, where he has established himself as the highest wicket-taker in the history of the CPL.

Dwayne Bravo had retired from international cricket three years ago in 2021. After this, he also retired from IPL in 2023. Currently, he is working as the bowling coach of Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
