Miami Open 2024: Title match will be played between Grigor Dimitrov and Jannik Sinner

Grigor Dimitrov continued his stellar performance in upsetting Carlos Alcaraz at the Miami Open to beat Alexander Zverev 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-4 on Friday and set up a final with top-five Italian Jannik Sinner. While in control of Zverev, who is vying for his 11th ATP Masters 1000 title, Dimitrov recorded his 20th top-5 victory. With his most recent hard-court Masters 1000 final occurring in Cincinnati in 2021, the German is searching for his first final at that level since Madrid in 2022.

In his ATP match against Zverev, Dimitrov broke a seven-match losing streak by converting both of his break points. Dimitrov, who is currently 2–7 in the series, won their first encounter in Basel in 2014.
