Massive fire broke out in a factory in Maharashtra, six workers died tragically
Six workers died in a fire at a factory in the MIDC area in Maharashtra early on Sunday.

A major accident took place in Maharashtra in the early hours of Sunday. Six workers died of suffocation in a fire at a factory in the MIDC area. Giving information about the incident, an official said that it happened around 2:30 am in a factory of Sunshine Enterprises, which manufactures hand gloves, on the Waluj MIDC premises. After receiving information about the accident, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot. The team found that the factory was engulfed in flames from all sides. Local people said that half a dozen people were trapped inside. However, other people were successful in escaping the fire. However, the cause of the fire has not been known yet.
After the information, the fire brigade personnel reached the spot entered the factory and found the bodies of six workers. The body has now been sent for identification and other formalities. Talking about the incident, the workers said that the factory was closed at night. More than a dozen labourers were sleeping inside the premises.
An official said many people managed to escape from the factory during the fire. While some employees got trapped inside and died due to smoke and fire. Minister Sandipanrao Bhumre, who reached the spot on Sunday morning, said that the incident will be thoroughly investigated from all angles and no culprit will be spared.
