Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Flagship MPV to be launched on July 5

Maruti Suzuki has finally revealed the name of its upcoming flagship MPV, which will be called the Invicto. The Invicto will be launched in India on July 5, and will sit right at the top of Maruti Suzuki's passenger vehicle line-up. It will be the most expensive model from the carmaker till date.

The Invicto is based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, and will share its platform, powertrain, and other components. However, the Invicto will have a different exterior design, which will be more in line with Maruti Suzuki's other models. The Invicto will also get a more premium interior, with features such as a panoramic sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a JBL sound system.

The Invicto will be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine with a hybrid system. The hybrid system will use an electric motor to provide additional power and torque, as well as to help improve fuel efficiency. The Invicto will be available in both manual and automatic transmission options.

Maruti Suzuki is targeting the Invicto at the premium MPV segment, which is currently dominated by the Toyota Innova Crysta and the Mahindra Marazzo. The Invicto is expected to be priced between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 20 lakh.
