'Pinjar' was also released in the same year. This film didn't do wonders at the box office, but because of this film I got a big film and I also got a National Award."

Manoj Bajpayee continues his talk and says, "Let me tell you an interesting thing. Because of 'Pinjar' I got a chance to work in 'Veer Zara'. When I got the National Award, Yash Chopra saw that film. And he liked my work so much that he gave me a chance to work in 'Veer Zara'."
