LG is making transparent antenna for vehicles
A transparent film was used in it, connectivity features including Bluetooth will be better. LG Electronics is making transparent antennas for vehicles in collaboration with French glass manufacturing company Saint-Gobain Sécurit. The tech company will present this antenna in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES-2024) to be held in January next year.

A transparent film has been used in this antenna. With this, other connectivity features including Bluetooth in vehicles will become even better. According to media reports, this new technology will further strengthen LG's position in the automotive market.
This will make it easier to transfer real time TEDA
At present, many electric gadgets and advanced features are available for cars in the automobile sector. Upcoming autonomous and high-tech vehicles will require better wireless connectivity.
Keeping this in mind, LG is introducing transparent antenna. With its help, it will become easier to transfer real-time data in high-tech vehicles.
Transparent antenna will improve 5G connectivity
LG has designed the transparent antenna to be easily installed on the glass of different vehicles. The antenna can be easily fitted over the glass or inside the glass.
Actually this antenna is a see-through layer, which is capable of improving telecommunication and network traffic. With its help, wireless connectivity like 5G, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Wi-Fi will increase.
Antenna can be installed on sunroof or windscreen
LG's transparent antenna can be mounted on a car's windshield or glass sunroof, allowing automakers to avoid making any design changes when making new models.
Along with this, space for traditional antennas can also be freed up. This antenna incorporates over 80 of LG's patents, including the design ability to make the antenna pattern transparent and transparent electrode technology.
