Kohli won by hitting a six Bangladesh by seven wickets

Batting after winning the toss, Bangladesh scored 256 runs for 8 wickets in 50 overs at the MCA ground in Pune. Indian batsmen achieved the target of 257 runs with the loss of 3 wickets in 41.3 overs. Virat Kohli scored the 69th fifty of his ODI career, while Shubman Gill scored his 10th half-century. Gill made an opening partnership of 88 runs on 76 balls with Rohit.

Chasing the target of 257, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill made an opening partnership of 88 runs. Rohit missed fifty. He scored 48 runs. While trying to hit a pull shot off Hasan's ball, Rohit was caught by Hardoy at the boundary.

Shubman Gill scored his first fifty in the World Cup. He was caught out on the ball of Mehndi Hasan Miraj after scoring 53 runs. Mahmudullah caught him at the boundary.

Bangladesh team won the toss and chose to bat at the MCA ground in Pune. Bangladesh scored 256 runs for 8 wickets in 50 overs. There was a 93-run partnership between openers Tanjid Hasan Tamim and Liton Das. Tanjid scored his first fifty in the World Cup. He was out after scoring 51 runs.

Liton Das scored his 12th ODI fifty, he was out after scoring 66 runs. Shanto (8 runs), Miraj (3) and Tauheed Hridoy (16) were out early.

There was a partnership of 42 runs between Mushfiqur Rahim (38 runs) and Mahmudullah (46 runs). Mushfiqur was dismissed by Bumrah. Jadeja took the catch by diving at backward point. Mahmudullah then made a 32-run partnership with Nasum Ahmed.

Rahul took a brilliant catch, had done special practice
Team India's wicketkeeper KL Rahul took an excellent diving catch against Bangladesh. Mohammad Siraj bowled the first ball of the 25th over with a short pitch on the leg side. Mehdi Hasan Miraj flicked, but the ball hit the bat and went behind the wicket. Where Rahul dived to his left and took a diving catch with one hand.

Before the match, KL Rahul had done special practice with the coach for the ball going on the leg side. The coach placed a bat away from the leg stump, so that Rahul would have difficulty seeing the ball. He then bowled the balls towards Rahul from very close range, so that his reflexes were sharp and it became easier for him to catch the balls going towards the leg side. Shanto took captaincy in place of injured Shakib
Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan is injured. He could not play the match against India. In his absence, Nazmul Hussain Shanto took over the captaincy. Nasum Ahmed was given a chance in the team in place of Shakib. There was no change in Team India.
