BCCI has imposed a fine of Rs 12 lakh each on both the captains.

Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul has been fined following a slow over-rate during Match 34 of IPL 2024 against Chennai Super Kings at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, the IPL said in a statement. Rahul has been fined Rs 12 lakh under the IPL Code of Conduct. In another statement, it has been confirmed that Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad will be fined due to slow overrate.

Speaking of the game, Lucknow beat Chennai Super Kings by eight wickets in the Ekana match. Chennai scored 176 runs for 6 wickets in their first batting innings.
