The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said rain occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka, while the weather remained humid over North Interior Karnataka.

"9 cm rainfall in Somwarpet (Kodagu district); 8 cm rainfall in CR Patna (Hassan district); 7 cm rainfall in Tumakuru, Hoskote (Bengaluru Rural districts)," the IMD said.
