The 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going to start soon. Due to the Lok Sabha elections, this time the IPL will be played between March 22 and May 26. Before this mega tournament, the new captain of Mumbai Indians (MI) Hardik Pandya has stated on social media. After which he has once again come into the limelight.

Pandya has said that he never comments in the media and it does not matter to him who is saying what about him. Hardik said, 'My fans don't know one thing about me that I don't go out. I am a homebody, I have hardly gone out in the last three to four years. I go out only when my friends call or there is some program at someone's place which I cannot ignore. I like to stay at home. There was a time when I did not leave the house for 50 days, I did not even see the home lift. I have my home gym and home theatre, and things I like are in my house.

When asked about a picture of him driving the sports car going viral on social media, the all-rounder said that the car was sent to him for a test drive. Hardik said, 'I never comment in the media, I never did, nor does it make any difference to me.'

Recently Mumbai Indians have traded him to Gujarat Titans (GT) and made him their captain for the upcoming IPL season. Hardik had to face trolls after being made the captain of Mumbai Indians. The captaincy has been given in place of his veteran batsman Rohit Sharma.
