In the joint operation of police and army in the Machhal sector of Kupwara, security forces have killed 4 dreaded terrorists. It is being told that they were trying to infiltrate PoK. Jammu and Kashmir Police have told about this incident. Kashmir security forces have taken this action against terrorists at a time when Union Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting Kashmir today.
The jawans have foiled this second major infiltration bid in a week. The encounter took place along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Machhal sector of Kupwara. Police said that the terrorists were trying to infiltrate the Indian border from PoK. The soldiers first warned the terrorists, and in response, they started firing. Then the encounter started and the security forces killed four terrorists.
