  • Silver (Shooting): In shooting, Sarabjot Singh and Divya TS won silver medal in 10 meter air pistol mixed team event. In the shooting gold match, Sarabjot and Divya had to face defeat by Chinese pair Zhang Bowen and Jiang Ranxin 16-14. With this he had to be satisfied with silver.
  • Silver (10 thousand meter race walk): Indian runner Karthik Kumar (28:25:38 minutes) won silver in the 10 thousand meter race walk in athletics.
  • Bronze (10 thousand meter race walk): India's Gulveer Singh won the bronze medal in 10 thousand meter race walk with the time of 28:17.21 minutes.

What is a tiebreak?
A tiebreak is played to decide the winner of a tie between two tennis players. Badminton: Men's team's medal confirmed for the first time
Indian men's team has reached the final in badminton. This is India's first medal in this event in the history of Asian Games. Indian badminton men's team defeated South Korea 3-2 in the Asian semi-final match.

Prannoy won the first match of the team event by 2-1. In the second match, Indian pair of Satwik and Chirag lost 2-0. In the third match, Lakshya Sen won the match 2-0.

Table Tennis: First medal of women's doubles category decided
The pair of Sutirtha and Ayhika Mukherjee created history in the women's doubles category of table tennis. Both of them defeated the world champion and world number-16 Chinese pair 3-1 in the quarter-final match. With this victory, India has assured itself of a medal. India has won an Asiad medal for the first time in this category.

Earlier, in men's doubles, the Indian pair of Manush Shah and Manav Thakkar had to face defeat in the quarter-finals. The pair of Manush and Manav lost 3-2 against the Korean pair of Woojin Jang and Jonghoon Lim.

Boxing: India's fourth medal, Lovlina, Preeti and Narendra reach semi-finals

Table Tennis: Manika Batra lost in women's singles
Manika Batra is out of the medal race in table tennis women's singles. She lost 2-4 to China's Yidi Wang in the quarterfinals.

Weightlifting: Mirabai Chanu finished fourth
Mirabai Chanu stood fourth in the 49 kg weightlifting category with a score of 191. In snatch, Mirabai lifted 83 kg in the first attempt. The subsequent two attempts at 86 kg were fouled. Lifted 108 kg in the first attempt of clean and jerk. There was a foul in the second and third attempts at 117 kg.

India's Bindyarani Devi, on the other hand, finished fifth in Women's 55KG. Bindyarani Devi lifted 109 KG in her first attempt, but failed to clean and jerk 113 KG in her second attempt. The total in the third attempt was 196 KG. Kang Heung Young of North Korea set a world record with 223KG and won gold.

Athletics: Men and Women missed medals in 400 meters
In Athletics Women's 400m, Aishwarya Kailash Mishra gave her best effort (53.50 seconds) but could not finish on the podium and stood fourth. Whereas in men's 400 meters, Mohammad Ajmal stood fifth with a time of 45.97 seconds.

Athletics: 5 players reached finals in various events
Murali Shankar and Jesswin Aldrin have reached the finals of men's long jump. In the 1500 meter race, Ajay Kumar and Jinson Johnson also secured their place in the finals. Jyoti Yaraji has confirmed her place in the final of the Women's 100m Hurdles.

Chase: Women's team won in Round-2
In chess, the Indian men's team played a 2.0-2.0 draw with Uzbekistan. On the other hand, Indian women's team defeated Vietnam by 2.5-0.5.

Skating: Missed medal in men's and women's speed skating 10000 meters
In the men's speed skating 10000 meters final, India's Anand Kumar Velkumar finished sixth with a timing of 15:40.978 and Siddhant Kamble finished seventh with a timing of 15:57.944. South Korea's Byeonhee Jeong won gold with a timing of 15:39.867, while China's Zhang Zhenhai won silver and Korea's Choi Inho won bronze.

Whereas in women's speed skating 10000 meters, Aarti Kasturi Raj stood 5th and Hiral Sadhu stood 7th. The Chinese Taipei pair of Pei-Yu Shih and Ho-Chen Yang won gold and silver while South Korea's Yu Garm won the bronze medal.
