Congress's comment is being considered very serious due to the ongoing political turmoil in Bihar. There is speculation that Chief Minister Nitish may once again join the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said, 'Party national president Mallikarjun Kharge has tried to contact Nitish, but talks have not taken place yet.' He said that due to busy schedules, Nitish and Kharge are not able to get in touch. He said that Kharge has also tried to talk to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Wrote a letter to him. Ramesh said that the main architects of the unity of the opposition parties and the alliance of 28 parties – INDIA – are Nitish and Mamata.

According to Jairam Ramesh, he is confident that both will remain a part of INDIA. Mamata has decided to contest the elections alone in West Bengal. With Nitish leaving India, the ruling NDA camp will become stronger. Amid speculations about the alleged disintegration in the politics of Bihar and the alliance formed at the national level, the Congress party also fiercely attacked the economic policies of the BJP-led central government. Former Union Minister and Congress Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh raised sharp questions while referring to the workers going to Israel to work as labourers.
