India resumed trade with this neighbouring country
India Resumes Trade With Neighbour: India has once again resumed trade with one of its neighboring countries.

Trade between India and its neighboring country Bangladesh was closed for some time. In July, due to the anti-government student movement and public protests in Bangladesh, keeping security in mind, the Government of India decided to suspend trade between the two countries from July 19. Trade between the two countries was mainly done by railways, which was suspended due to security reasons. Along with this, railway travel was also suspended with this. But now the Government of India has taken a big decision in this regard.
After 47 days of closure, the trade between the two countries was opened again on Wednesday. The rail route of trade began once again between the two countries through the Benapole Land Port.
According to Patrika, talks were held between high-level officials of India and Bangladesh on this subject, and discussions were held on restoring trade. Bangladesh was in dire need of this restoration. In such a situation, it was decided to resume trade between India and Bangladesh only after high-level talks.
