Sunny Deol threw a party on Saturday evening after the hit of his film 'Gadar 2'. Many Bollywood stars attended it. Most of the eyes were on Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri. When Shah Rukh reached, not only Sunny welcomed him warmly but both of them hugged each other. The picture of both hugging is also in discussion on social media. The reason for this is that both the actors have had a strained relationship for a long time. For many years both of them did not talk to each other at all.

Sunny Deol and Shahrukh Khan worked together in the 1993 Yash Raj banner film 'Darr'. Sunny Deol was the hero of the film while Shah Rukh Khan was in the negative role. The film was a superhit but not Sunny but Shahrukh Khan got praise for his acting. From here the relationship between the two stars started deteriorating. Sunny Deol accused Yash Raj that the kind of role he was told was not shown in the film. In the film, the villain was glorified and he was presented as a hero. This was a kind of betrayal to him. Especially in the climax scene of the film, Sunny was so angry that he criticized the makers in very harsh words.

Sunny Deol had said in an interview with a magazine that the experience of 'fear' was the worst experience of his life. He was lied to and the makers treacherously sidelined him. Accepting that he had stopped talking to Shahrukh Khan for 16 years, Sunny had said, It is not that I did not talk to anyone intentionally. I am not very social. Therefore, if we had not met anywhere, how could the conversation have happened?

In the last few years, both the actors tried to move forward leaving behind the old things. In recent times, Shahrukh not only publicly praised Gadar 2, but also congratulated Sunny Deol by calling him. At the same time, he also praised director Anil Sharma. After this, Sunny also sent an invitation to come to the party and Shahrukh also accepted it.
