Foreign investors will break records, bought shares worth Rs 1.74 lakh crore in 8.5 months, Sensex crosses 71,000

Analysts expect that these investors can break the record of investment in any financial year in 2023-24. If this strong trend of investment continues, the Sensex may cross 75,000 before May. According to the data, Sensex has made three records this month on the strength of foreign investors.

There was a surge due to BJP's victory
After the election results of three states in favor of the saffron party, these investors invested heavily in the market. Due to this, on December 5, Sensex broke the record of 69,000. After that it broke the record of 70,000 and now 71,000 and has reached half way to 72,000. Along with equity, these investors have also invested Rs 55,836 crore in debt this year. In fact, JP Morgan will include India's government bonds in its emerging index from next year. Because of this, foreign investors are increasing investment in debt.

Santosh Meena, Research Head Swastika Investmart said that foreign investors have bought heavily last week. We may see similar vigorous buying in the coming weeks. In such a situation, its positive impact can be seen in the market.
