For the past few days, cybercriminals have started a new business of extortion by blackmailing through sextortion calls. Many people have lost lakhs of rupees by falling prey to this dirty game. Right now the latest case of sextortion call is related to Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Food Processing Prahlad Singh Patel. According to the information received, a sextortion call was received on the phone of the Union Minister. A video call was received on the minister's number from an unknown number and as soon as he received the call, porn started playing in front of him. After this, the minister immediately disconnected the call and complained about the matter to the police.

The police immediately became active on the minister's complaint. After tracing the number, the police arrested two criminals in this case. Both these arrests have taken place from Bharatpur in Rajasthan. According to the information given by the police, both persons were arrested in the first week of July. The names of both the accused are Mohammad Vakil and Mohammad Sahib. Delhi Police official told that mastermind Mohammad Sabir is still absconding.

A Delhi Police official said that Prahlad Singh Patel's personal secretary Alok Mohan had complained to the police about the matter in the last week of June. After which the police were engaged in its investigation. Delhi Police said that both men were arrested from Bharatpur Rajasthan in the first week of July. The names of both the accused are Mohammad Vakil and Mohammad Sahib.

Delhi Police official told that mastermind Mohammad Sabir is still absconding and efforts are on to arrest him. According to the police, the accused are part of a racket of 'sextortion calls'. Police said that in general 'sextortion calls', the victim is blackmailed by threatening to make videos of sexual nature viral. It is recorded through video calls. Then extortion is done by threatening to blackmail the person in front of him.

It was told that the call came on the minister's number when he was going to his village in Madhya Pradesh. The minister said that he had given all the necessary information related to the incident to the Delhi Police and a few days ago he got information that the police had traced the numbers of the accused.

It was told that after receiving the sextortion video call, the minister received another call threatening to make his video viral on social media. Later, the police traced the number and arrested the two accused. Also seized the phone from which the sextortion call was made to the minister.
