Tyrell Stephen Phillips, 22, has been charged with murder in the shooting deaths of a 14-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man following an early-morning clash between two groups in Tampa, Ybor, police said. Actually, after the Halloween-themed party was over, people suddenly gathered on the road and tried to hide after hearing the sound of gunshots.
The video has surfaced on social media platform X. There was panic among the people and people were running in the dark and about 12-13 bullets were also fired there. In some footage, police officers are seen running to help people covered in blood.
Police said in a statement that two people died and 16 were hospitalized. Of these, 15 people have been shot. Police said the injured were aged between 18 and 27 and were being treated. Tampa Police Chief Lee Berkow said that with the help of some people present at the scene, the suspected gunman was identified and arrested.
However, till now it is not known how many people have carried out this incident. After interrogating the accused, efforts will be made to find answers to many questions. The police have started further action.
