Eight submarines of the Indian Navy took part in an exercise in the Arabian Sea. Officials said that in the recently concluded exercise in the Arabian Sea off the western coast, eight submarines participated together and made their strength felt. The Western Naval Command said in a post on Twitter that Vice Admiral Sanjay J. Singh reviewed the conduct of the exercise.

Eight submarines of the Indian Navy took part in an exercise in the Arabian Sea. Officials said that in the recently concluded exercise in the Arabian Sea off the western coast, eight submarines participated together and made their strength felt.

The Western Naval Command said in a post on Twitter that Vice Admiral Sanjay J. Singh reviewed the conduct of the exercise. He praised the group for its professionalism and excellent conduct.

The Western Naval Command Post said- 'As part of the demonstration, the Vice-Admiral also saw the bottom of the submarine and tasted sea water as per the tradition of submariners.

Navy Chief Admiral Hari Kumar addressed the media on the completion of 100 days of naval operations against anti-drone, anti-missile and anti-piracy attacks in the Gulf of Aden, Arabian Sea and Red Sea. He said the Navy will continue to take positive action to prevent such incidents.

The Navy chief said piracy has re-emerged as an industry to profit from the chaos in the region. The Navy Chief said that we will take action to stop this.

He said Operation Sankalp broke the myth of short and quick operations and emphasized the need for sustained operations to ensure security and stability in the oceans. He further said that the pace of operations is quite fast and we have 11 submarines and 30 warships in different parts of the sea, ensuring interest in all areas.
