Earthquake shocks again in Afghanistan, intensity was this much on Richter scale
Earthquake in Afghanistan: The land of Afghanistan has once again been shaken by an earthquake. According to the National Center for Seismology, the intensity of the earthquake was 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale. According to NCS, earthquake tremors were felt in Afghanistan at 639 a.m. (Indian time) at a depth of 50 kilometers. However, due to the low intensity of the earthquake, there was no loss of life or property.
Earthquake shocks have occurred once again in Afghanistan. This is the second earthquake to hit the poverty-stricken country in a week. According to the National Center for Seismology, the intensity of the earthquake was 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale.
According to NCS, earthquake tremors were felt in Afghanistan at a depth of 50 kilometers on Friday morning at 6:39 a.m. (Indian time). However, due to the low intensity of the earthquake, there was no loss of life or property.
Earlier, on October 11, a massive earthquake of 6.1 magnitude had occurred in Afghanistan. The earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometers. Khaama Press quoted the Taliban-led ministry as saying that more than 4,000 people had lost their lives and thousands of buildings were destroyed in the attack.
Herat and surrounding areas were shaken by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake and its powerful aftershocks on Saturday.
