Dwayne Bravo joins Afghanistan team for the tournament, will play important responsibilities

Afghanistan is gearing up for the T20 World Cup and the team is leaving no stone unturned to make an impact in the tournament. In this series, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) on Tuesday announced the appointment of former West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo as the team's bowling consultant for the T20 World Cup. Bravo has been a part of the World Cup-winning team.
With 6423 runs and 363 wickets taken in 295 West Indies matches Bravo is one of the best all-around players in the world. Aside from that, he has participated in 227 List-A games and 100 first-class games. He is the leading wicket-taker in the game's shortest format with 625 wickets after having participated in 573 T20 matches. Bravo, the world's most successful fast-bowling all-rounder in T20 cricket, has amassed over 7000 runs in this format. Bravo has competed in numerous global T20 leagues and taken home numerous championships. Bravo has participated in and won championships in the Champions Trophy, IPL, CPL, and T20 World Cup. Bravo has been associated with IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for a long time and in the current season also he was in the role of the bowling coach of the team.
The Afghanistan team has already reached West Indies to participate in the T20 World Cup and is currently in Saint Kitts and Nevis where the team players will participate in a 10-day training camp. This training camp has been organized to strengthen the preparations before the T20 World Cup in which Bravo will also participate. The Afghanistan team will start its campaign in the global tournament against Uganda in Guyana on June 3.
