DGCA preparing to bring a framework on gender issues early next year

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is preparing to come out with a framework to address gender issues early next year. A top official gave this information on Saturday.
DGCA chief Vikram Dev Dutt said at an event that the gender issue was discussed informally in the DGCA. “Early next year, we will come up with a framework for DGCA on gender issues,” he said.

Dutt also mentioned the huge role of DGCA in influencing positive change within the private sector and sought suggestions from stakeholders. On this occasion, Minister of State for Civil Aviation VK Singh said that the story of tremendous growth in the Indian aviation sector is synonymous with the vision, inspiration and strength of women in this sector.
