India's leading car manufacturer Hyundai launched its cheapest SUV on Monday i.e. 10 July. The manufacturer has designed this SUV keeping the youth in mind. The company has launched the Hyundai Exter with a starting price of Rs 6 lakh. And Hyundai India has announced that the deliveries of the Xeter will start from today i.e. 11th July.
In this, the company has given a 1.2 liter Kappa petrol engine, which generates peak torque of 81bhp and 114Nm. This SUV comes with manual and smart auto transmission options. Also, CNG option is also available in it.
Hyundai India has also shared details about the mileage of the Exeter. And it returns a mileage of 19.4 kmpl for the manual and 19.2 kmpl for the AMT variant. Talking about the CNG variant, the SUV claims a mileage of 27.1 km/kg.
Talking about the exterior, it gets split headlamps with H-shaped LED DRLs, a parametric grille design, 15-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, faux skid plates, and H-shaped LED taillights. Other exterior highlights include a shark-fin antenna, roof rails, integrated roof spoiler, rear wiper with washer, and a high-mount stop lamp.
The Exeter cabin comes with a digital instrument cluster, semi-leatherette seat upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice-activated commands in multiple languages, and OTA updates. Wireless charging, keyless entry is also available in this car. Apart from this, keeping in mind the safety, 6 airbags, 3 point seat belts, seat belt reminder, electric sunroof with voice command and dashcam with dual lens are also available. The ex-showroom price of the new Exter ranges from Rs 5,99,900 to Rs 9,99,990.
