In view of this, one day holiday has been declared in all educational institutions and all Anganwadi centers of Champawat, Bageshwar, and Nainital.

If we talk about today's Thursday, then even today the rainy season continues in the hill state of Uttarakhand, Himachal. Due to this, public life is getting badly affected. Traffic was reported due to debris falling 500 meters ahead of Gangotri National Highway Bhatwadi in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand on Thursday morning. Devotees of Gangotri Dham Yatra are stranded on the way.
Here on the Badrinath National Highway in Chamoli, the road was blocked due to debris coming from the hill at Nandprayag and Chhinka. However, later the administration cleared the debris and opened the Badrinath National Highway at Nandprayag Chhinka for traffic. Chamoli police gave this information.

Not only this, in view of the warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Bageshwar district, Anuradha Pal, District Magistrate/Chairman, Disaster Management Authority has declared a one-day holiday in view of the safety of the students. Due to heavy rains in Nainital too, the District Magistrate issued an order to keep all the schools in the district closed.
There is a possibility of rain in UP and Bihar till August 7. There is a possibility of lightning accompanied by rain with thunder and lightning from east to west in UP. Heavy rain warning has been issued in western Uttar Pradesh on August 3, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on August 2 and 3.
