China's evil eye on Taiwan, Chinese naval ships again hovering near the sea border
Taiwan News: Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND) said it tracked four Chinese naval vessels around Taiwan between 6 a.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday. Taiwan's armed forces have deployed naval ships and coastal systems in response to China's activities. So far this month, Taiwan has tracked Chinese military aircraft 40 times and naval ships 45 times.

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND) said it tracked four Chinese naval vessels around Taiwan between 6 a.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday.
In an official tweet on Twitter, Taiwan's Defense Ministry said "As of 6 am today (UTC+8), 4 PLAN vessels were detected operating in the vicinity of Taiwan. #ROCArmedForces have monitored the situation and deployed appropriate forces to respond."
According to the Taiwan Defense Ministry, Taiwan's armed forces are monitoring the situation and have deployed naval ships and coastal systems in response to China's activities.
During that period, no People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait median line or entered the country's Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).
Earlier, Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense tracked six Chinese naval vessels operating across the country from 6 am (local time) on April 6 to 6 am (local time) on April 7.
On April 6, Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND) reported sightings of seven Chinese naval vessels and one aircraft near Taiwan between 6 a.m. Friday (local time) and 6 a.m. Saturday (local time).
According to Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND), the Chinese aircraft entered Taiwan's Eastern Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ). In response, Taiwan deployed aircraft, naval ships and air defence missile systems to monitor Chinese activity.
Taiwan has tracked 40 Chinese military aircraft and 45 Chinese naval ships so far this month. China has been using more military aircraft and naval ships to operate near Taiwan since September 2020, which is an increase in the use of "grey zone" tactics.
A grey zone strategy is any set of actions taken in addition to steady-state deterrence and assurance in an effort to accomplish security goals without using a significant amount of force.
