China built the world's most powerful hypersonic wind tunnel

Another feat: China built the world's most powerful hypersonic wind tunnel. Scientists described the four-meter diameter tunnel as an ideal laboratory. A tunnel with airflow 30 times faster than the speed of sound is ready.

China has completed the construction of the world's most powerful hypersonic wind tunnel in the mountainous Huarou district of northern Beijing. The diameter of this tunnel named JF-22 is four meters. It can generate incredibly high airflow speeds of up to 10 kilometers per second, which is 30 times the speed of sound. China's Mechanical Institute says that this wind tunnel will play an important role in furthering China's hypersonic ambitions. The tunnel will be used for space transportation systems and hypersonic aircraft as well as in military research.

The Chinese government has set a goal of deploying a fleet of hypersonic aircraft by 2035. This fleet will be able to take passengers to space and reach any point on Earth within an hour. Chinese scientists say that the wind tunnel will prove to be an ideal laboratory for the study of hypersonic flight phenomena. Here researchers can study how hypersonic vehicles interact with their surroundings and develop new technologies to enhance performance and safety.

Till now there is no defense system in the world to stop the hypersonic missile. If China achieves the speed of Mach 33 through a wind tunnel, then it can prove to be a threat to the whole world. With this, Chinese missiles can attain a speed of 40 thousand kilometers per hour. There will be no one to stop them. China already has a hypersonic anti-ship missile named DF-17.

Instead of using traditional expansion methods to generate airflow, a new shock wave generator was proposed by China's leading scientist Professor Jiang Zonglin. The system uses a series of precisely timed explosions to create shock waves. This results in the highest speed flow of air in the wind tunnel.
