Britain High Court gives relief to Julian Assange, will be able to appeal against US extradition
The British High Court has recently given relief to Julian Assange. How? Let us know.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange got a big relief from the UK High Court in London on Monday. The court has given him permission to appeal against his extradition to the United States of America on espionage charges. The British court said that the assurances given by the US in his case about not giving a death sentence etc. are not satisfactory and he will get full opportunity to hear the appeal. Two senior judges said they would allow the appeal to proceed. Assange's lawyers have argued that the case against him is politically motivated.
It is noteworthy that Assange has always said that he has not done any wrongdoing. It has also been argued that his revelations in 2010 revealed war crimes committed by America.
Now Assange's appeal is expected to be heard sometime next year. According to US officials, Assange endangered the lives of many people by publishing thousands of confidential documents on WikiLeaks and he will face court action for this. Assange, an Australian citizen, has been lodged in London's Belmarsh high-security prison since 2019. Assange was detained from the Embassy of Ecuador.
