Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt recently opened up about his struggle days in the entertainment industry and how his daughter Pooja Bhatt helped him run the house.
In a conversation with fellow Bigg Boss OTT contestant Raqesh Bapat, Bhatt revealed that he was 23 years old when Pooja was born and he had no money. He was worried about how he would pay the hospital bill, but Pooja's mother, Kiran Bhatt, took her to try and get modeling projects.
Pooja's first modeling project was a soap ad, which earned her Rs. 3000. She also did a newspaper ad for which she got Rs. 300. Bhatt said that Pooja's earnings helped to run the house during his struggle days.

Bhatt also spoke about how Pooja was a very independent child and how she was always willing to help out. He said that she was a "fighter" and that she never gave up, even when things were tough.
