In the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Zaid Hadid talks about his childhood experience. In conversation with Pooja Bhatt and Cyrus Broacha, Zaid reveals how he was abandoned at his neighbors' doorstep and raised by them.

Jed said, “When my father came back after spending some time with my mother, she became pregnant. After I was born, he took my documents to the municipality, my mother made a condition to baptize me, and he went for a walk. He wasn't around when I was born and my mother baptized me and named me. Mother thought he would never come back, it was 1984 and there were no phone calls. He came back, took my documents, and saw the church documents that I was baptized. He named me JD which is a very common name and it is not related to any religion. He went to court, came back home, tore all my documents, threw away my papers, divorced my mother, packed his bags, and left. He did it all in one day."

“My mother thought he had come back, so she packed her stuff and went to her parents' and dropped me off with the neighbors. They thought my father was back. She dropped me off at the neighbor's saying she was going to the supermarket, the same thing she told me when she met me 17 years later. I stayed in that room for a week. I ate garbage, there was a restaurant across the street. The people of the restaurant used to throw away all the leftover food till evening. I'd go downstairs, pick up whatever I wanted, and then go back. One day a neighbor, who had a librarian, saw me and was horrified and shouted about how my mother could leave me outside. He came, he held my hand and knocked on the door but no one opened. In fact, my father sold the house within hours,'' he adds.

Jed said, “I looked for my mother. It was so dramatic that she collapsed when I told her who I was. I showed him all the documents. She couldn't read clearly after all she had gone through. And when I met her after a few years, she was dead. I never want him to apologize, he said sorry. He thought... It still gives me goosebumps talking about it, he thought this whole time I was with my father. They didn't know I was alone, they thought my dad had come back home and taken me with him.
