Bangalore's Taj West End Hotel has received a bomb threat. According to police officials, the Taj West End Hotel received a bomb threat through an email from unknown miscreants. Central Bengaluru Deputy Commissioner of Police Shekhar HT said in this regard that on receiving the information, the local police and bomb squad have reached the spot to conduct a thorough investigation.

Here, the Taj West End is famous for hosting top politicians and cricketers. The staff immediately alerted their superiors and the police became alert. A team was immediately rushed from the Area Officer High Grounds Police Station. A bomb squad and anti-sabotage teams were also pressed into action.
Bengaluru Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Shekhar H Tekkannavar told DH, "We received a bomb threat email to Taj West End Hotel in High Grounds PS this morning. Our BDDS and ASC team inspected the premises and found that it was a fake threat email. They also said, 'We will take the complaint and investigate the matter.'
Earlier, malls and schools-shopping malls in Gurugram, Delhi also received bomb threats. For some time now, emails full of bomb threats have been received against big institutions.
