Air India cancels morning flight to Dhaka, all IndiGo-Vistara flights on Tuesday canceled
An Air India official said on Tuesday that the airline has canceled its morning flight to Dhaka and will decide later on whether to operate its evening flight to the Bangladesh capital.

Amid the ongoing anti-government tension in Bangladesh, Air India on Tuesday morning canceled its flight to Dhaka. The protest of students seeking reservation in jobs in Bangladesh turned into a violent protest in the last few days. After which the country's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned on Monday and reached India.
On the other hand, IndiGo and Vistara officials have also announced the cancellation of all their flights to Bangladesh's capital Dhaka. Vistara operates a daily flight from Mumbai to Bangladesh. At the same time, three flights are being operated from Delhi to Dhaka in a week.
An Air India official on Tuesday said the airline has canceled its morning flight to Dhaka and will decide later on whether to operate its evening flight to the Bangladesh capital.
As per the schedule, the airline is to operate two flights daily from Delhi to Dhaka.
"In view of the evolving situation in Bangladesh, we have canceled scheduled operations of our flights to and from Dhaka with immediate effect. We are constantly monitoring the situation and assisting our passengers with confirmed bookings to and from Dhaka," an Air India spokesperson said in a statement on Monday.
