The film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, proved to be a milestone for Bobby Deol. Even though his character in Ranbir Kapoor's film was small and silent, Bobby Deol left such an impression on the hearts of the fans with his expressions that the audience never got tired of praising him.

Bobby became very emotional due to the love he was getting for his character in Animal. This movie has once again made Bobby Deol the first choice of not only directors and producers, but OTT platforms too are now competing to get the rights to the 'Animal' actor's next film.

After Animal, Bobby Deol's long-stalled film 'Penthouse' has got silver, because considering the popularity of the actor, not one, but two different OTT platforms are trying to buy the rights of his film. According to reports in Bollywood Life, the rights of Bobby Deol-Arjun Rampal and Sharman Joshi starrer 'Penthouse' were first bought by OTT platform Netflix.

Netflix had given almost 70 per cent of the amount for the film. However, he had asked director Abbas-Mustan to enhance Bobby Deol's character in the film. According to reports, the makers were not ready to make changes to the film as per Netflix's instructions, as they felt that this could spoil the story of their film. After which Netflix took its steps back.

According to reports, after Netflix backed out, Abbas-Mustan talked to Jio Studio about the film. The story of the film impressed the OTT platform, but they suggested the makers enhance the characters of the three actors.

Both the makers and Jio Studio agreed with this suggestion. However, after the success of Animal, Netflix called Penthouse producer Sunil Khetarpal and according to reports, he talked to him about reworking the deal.

Well, Bobby Deol's popularity brought a lot of benefits to his stalled film. Now only time will tell to whom the rights of 'Penthouse' will go. For now, let us tell you that Bobby Deol's film 'Animal' has done a business of Rs 757 crore worldwide.
