Lashkar-e-Taiba has been operating by changing its name since the removal of Article 370.
Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) is now operating in the Kashmir Valley under the name of The Resistance Force (TRF). Security forces officials say that after the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in 2019, LeT has done this as part of a well-thought-out strategy. Lashkar-e-Taiba has changed its name for two reasons:

By keeping a name like Resistance Front, the armed fight of terrorists is shown as the fight of local Kashmiri boys.
This name is also secular which attracts foreign media more and presents a new picture of the Kashmir conflict.
