Police have revealed the theft from Malayalam actress Shobhana's house in Chennai. The actress had complained that money is continuously disappearing from her house. When the police started investigating the matter, it was found that the person who stole the money was none other than the maid of the actress. Police said that in the last two months, the maid of the actress had stolen about Rs 41,000.

According to the police, the maid, a resident of Cuddalore, was hired by Shobhana to look after her mother Anandam. She used to regularly steal small sums of money during her stay in the house. Till now she had withdrawn Rs 41,000 and sent it to her daughter's account only with the help of Shobhana's daughter. On coming to know about the matter, Shobhana requested the police not to file an FIR against her med. Shobhana said that this money would be recovered from the med's salary.

Shobana is a big name in the Malayalam film industry. Apart from Malayalam films, he has also worked in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films. She has won the National Award twice and has also been honored with the Padma Shri award. Along with being an actress, Shobana is also recognized as a Bharatanatyam dancer.
