The new 2025 BYD Seal Electric Sedan has installed an updated LIDAR sensor module, to be used for enhancing the ADAS function. Coupled with this, its automatic driving ability has been further improved. It is now brought with the L2+ level DiPilot 300 system. It includes high features like high-speed and city navigation on autopilot and automated valet parking.
The all-new 2025 BYD Seal electric sedan is built off the e-platform 3.0 Evo. Sleek, long, and with quite an appealing style, it speaks loads of on-road presence. The drive train system is powered by a world-first-ever 12-in-1 electric drive system. Other features include a fast-charging system, a high-efficiency thermal management module, and state-of-the-art CTB vehicle safety architecture.
Now, talking about the interior of the 2025 BYD Seal, there's a four-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and a large centrally mounted floating touchscreen that can rotate. Other features across all variants include a minimalist center console, wireless charging pad, W-HUD head-up display, and 13 airbags. The top-spec AWD variant further adds a high-damping control system.
The all-new BYD Seal 2025 has been launched, which comes with dual battery packs; one is a 61.44 kWh and the other a bigger 80.64 kWh unit. Now, the first 61.44 kWh battery pack has a range of 510 km, and the 80.64 kWh at 650 km. This electric sedan can produce an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. It also had a top speed of 240 km/h. Moreover, from 10% to 80%, just 25 minutes is needed to charge the vehicle.
Now, the new 2025 BYD Seal 650 Long Range Edition comes at 189,800 yuan, or Rs 21.6 lakh, while the 650 Intelligent Driving Edition comes at 216,800 yuan which is equivalent to Rs 24.7 lakh, and its top variant 600 AWD Drive for 239,800 yuan, equivalent to Rs. 27.31 lakh.
BYD Seal EV is available in India in CBU form at Rs 41 lakh to Rs 53 lakh. BYD Seal EV is reportedly coming up with a new model in 2025 across India for which people are looking forward.
