Woman molested case: Once again a woman was molested on a flight, 5th incident in 3 months

Once again a case of molestation of a woman in an airplane has come to light. An incident of molestation of a woman took place on an Indigo flight from Mumbai to Guwahati. After registering the FIR, the police have arrested the accused passenger.

Actually, Indigo flight 6E-5319 had left for Guwahati from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at around 9 p.m. on Saturday night. Meanwhile, a woman sitting in an aisle seat allegedly alleged that a male passenger sitting next to her seat took advantage of the low lighting of the plane and tried to touch her repeatedly.

“I found it strange for a while because I remember clearly that I had put the armrest down,” the woman told The Times of India. Well, while half asleep, I didn't think much about it and put the armrest down again and fell asleep." According to the woman, after some time she woke up with a startle and saw that the male passenger's hand was on her. The woman said, “Her eyes were closed but I didn't want to jump to conclusions...so, I waited, kept my eyes half closed, and pretended to be asleep. After a few minutes, the male passenger again started touching her inappropriately. I wanted to scream, but couldn't. I froze."

Describing the incident, Indigo said that an FIR had been registered against the accused passenger and the police had arrested him. Let us tell you that this is the fourth case of molestation of female passengers inside the plane in the last three months.
