Apple Lockdown Mode: What is Lockdown Mode in Apple devices? How can it protect your phone from cyber-attacks? Let us know about it in detail.

Leading American mobile manufacturer Apple has sent an alert message to about half a dozen leaders across the country on Tuesday. In a message allegedly sent by the company, they have been warned that their iPhone has been targeted by 'state sponsored attackers'. There was a stir after this information came to light. After which Apple has issued an advisory for its users. In which it is advised to activate lockdown mode. This feature of Apple is successful in protecting the device from cyber attacks to a great extent.
A lockdown mode feature has been added in the latest software update from Apple, which is very helpful in protecting users from any cyber attack. In this feature, there are many facilities that hinder the user from accessing the phone. This mode blocks attachments in incoming messages, disables message link previews, prevents wired connections when the iPhone is locked, and disables some Apple features like FaceTime, Live Photos, and iCloud Photo Sharing. However, even after lockdown mode is activated, phone calls and simple messages work. Apart from this, features like iOS emergency calls also remain active.
First of all, you have to go to the Settings option of iPhone or iPad. After this click on Privacy and Security option. Activate lockdown mode by tapping here, then restart the device. After this enter your device passcode.
